Meetings Programme

On Tuesday 26 November at 7.30pm at Moseley Exchange there will be a joint meeting of Moseley Society and Moseley Forum at which Councillor Phil Davis will talk about the impact of the City’s financial crisis on the heritage of the city, and on Highbury in particular.

On Tuesday 17 December at 2.00pm in the afternoon there will be a festive get-together similar to last year’s event with entertainment and refreshments at Moseley Exchange.

More events are currently being planned for the spring of 2025.  Further details will be announced here.

Dovecote and Icehouse opening dates 2025

Both sites will be open from 1-4 p.m. on the following dates:
29 March
26 April,
31 May,
28 June,
11 -13 July Jazz Festival (Icehouse only)
26 July,
30 August (Dovecote only)
29 -31 August Folk Festival (Icehouse only)
27 September
Also certain times during Birmingham Heritage Week 12 – 21 September

The Dovecote is situated on Alcester Road at the entrance to Moseley Hall Hospital and the Icehouse is to be found in Moseley Park & Pool.

Jan Berry’s book ‘Moseley 1850-1900’

A limited number of copies of Jan Berry’s book are still available for purchase at the special price of £12.50 at the Heath Bookshop in Kings Heath. (The bookshop is in King’s Court, the entrance to which is near the HSBC Bank and opposite WH Smith/The Post Office).
